Shea Whip.......for deep moisturizing of seriously dry skin. This blend of 75% unrefined shea butter and 25% Meadowfoam Seed oil is a luxury for when you must have only the very best. Meadowfoam seed oil is a superior oil used widely in the cosmetics industry for hair and skincare due to its unique fatty acid content and it's ability to adhere to, and stay on the skin. It is from a white flowered, herbaceous plant which gets its' name because of its resemblance to a meadow of foam when blooming. It is among the most expensive oils out there, but it contributes to a silky soft and moisturizing lotion or cream. Also, and perhaps most importantly, Meadowfoam seed oil has a very long shelf life, and can help extend the shelf life of other oils it's blended with! Combined with our unrefined shea butter you have unbeatable skin therapy.

Sugar is a more gentle alternative to salt scrubs which can be drying to the delicate facial skin. We use Terbinado sugar - light brown crystals prepared from unrefined, minimally processed, juice of sugar cane. The juice is spun out of the cane, thus the name Turbinado.

We also use coco crème. From the island of Tahiti the Huile de Coco Vierge (virgin coconut oil) is from sun-dried coprah (the inside of the coconut). It has a distinct scent of fresh coconuts, but not overly-sweet. Virgin coconut oil is the most expensive of all our oils, but it's benefits are worth the expense. (And so are you!)

We choose to leave unmasked the natural scents of the virgin coco creme and brown sugar. Scoop a dab out (about 3/4 tsp) and spread over wet face. Use wet hands or cloth to gently scrub face. Don't use much pressure, let the sugar crystals do their work for you.

Soft Face - moisturizer. Oils of safflower, grapeseed, jojoba and avocado infused with chamomile, echinacea, green tea and lavender. We've gently scented this light lotion with rose water and lavender. The color is the very lightest aqua.

Cyclomethicone is a silicone polymer made from silica --sands. This produces an excellent skin conditioning, emollient lubricant that adds luster and sheen. Non-greasy, it has a a soft, talc-like feel and is highly skin protective. This "dry" liquid holds the perfume oils beautifully on your skin/hair/clothing.

A little goes a long way, so use sparingly. One fine mist spray is usually all you need.
